The GBC Combbind A10 is a compact desktop comb binding machine suited to personal use and small offices that need to produce professionally bound A4 documents in-house. It punches the standard 21-hole pattern used by comb binding spines and opens combs for document assembly — covering both steps of the binding process in one machine. For reports, training materials, proposals, manuals, presentations and similar documents, it produces a clean, professional result that holds pages flat and allows the document to open and lie flat for easy reading.

WHAT COMB BINDING DOES

Comb binding punches a row of 21 rectangular holes along the left edge of the document pages, then threads a plastic comb spine through those holes to hold the pages together. Unlike stapling or wire binding, comb-bound documents open and lie completely flat, making them easy to read, photocopy, or work from without holding them open. The comb spine can also be opened again and pages added, removed or rearranged — useful when documents need regular updating or when proofing before final assembly. The result is a document that looks finished, holds together securely, and is practical to use.
