USING TEMPLATE PLASTIC IN YOUR WORKFLOW Template plastic fits neatly into a cutting setup alongside the Sew Easy ruler range and cutting mats. Trace your shape onto the plastic using a fine permanent marker or a silver pencil, then cut the template with scissors or a craft knife on a cutting mat. Once made, the template can be used directly on fabric with a fabric marker or chalk — or placed on the fabric and cut around with a rotary cutter, using the ruler range (NL4187, NL4188, square rulers) for straight edges and the curved rulers (NL4196) for curved shapes.
